Khudi Workshops in Gujrat and Sargodha:
The Khudi Team organized workshops in University of Gujrat and University of Sargodha on November 2 and 3 respectively, focusing on the themes of democratic culture, pluralism and Islam. More than 200 students and faculty members attended the workshops, after which selected volunteers signed up to establish Khudi chapters in their respective institutions and cities.

IYCF 2011:
Khudi and Miradore Productions organized their annual International Youth Conference and Festival 2011 in Islamabad from October 19-22, gathering 250 delegates from across Pakistan and 12 different countries around the world. “Building Bridges Across the World” was the theme of the IYCF, featuring panel discussions, keynote speeches and cultural performances. Senator Mushahid Hussain (General Secretary, PML-Q), Sherry Rehman (former information minister), Jeremy Gilley (founder, Peace One Day), Prashan De Visser (founder and president, Sri Lanka Unites), Noman Benotman (Quilliam Foundation), Christopher Neu (TechChange) and Prof. Dr Pervez Hoodbhoy were among the prominent speakers who spoke at the IYCF 2011. Khudi Founder Speaks at Hyderabad Press Club and CPCS:
Khudi founder Maajid Nawaz spoke to Sindhi civil society and journalists at the Centre of Peace and Civil Society and Hyderabad Press Club on October 27, underscoring the importance of forging alliances between civil society organizations to promote democratic culture and pluralism and to counter religious extremism on a societal level.
